OUR STORY

My name is Robin Armstead. I have been in love with digital games since I beat Super Mario Bros. back in the 80s. I had always dreamed of making my own games but wanted something that reflected closer to my own history, culture, and lifestyle. I desired to see images that reflected what I saw in my own world and was always left wanting.

So I decided to become my own shero and create that which I wanted most in my casual gaming experince with the hope that I would attract others that desired a similar gaming experience. Flip It Studios was born with the goal of producing culturally relevant and robust casual gaming apps for anyone who loves that black experience.

As an African American woman, I understand how important representation is and that we are able to tell our own stories. Let's play and learn together.
